Long time....x

So I haven't written a blog post in ages because I've been writing 25,000 words for uni, but I've finished uni forever now so no more distractions!

On the shopping front, I've had quite a few purchases recently so I'll share a few of my favs below.

This kimono is so beautiful, it's one of my fav summer pieces right now. It's versitile and the colours are so vibrant. It's from Quiz and it's the first item I've ever purchased from there. The quality is really impressive and the service I received in the shop was superb! Teamed this with a black bandeau, white ripped jeans and my new black sandals from Primark (pictured below)

These sandals from Primark are a summer must have, and with a price tag of £8 their not exactly going to break the bank. Their really comfy unlike some sandals and don't need any breaking in. Wanting these in white but they don't have them in my local store! Definitely am item to add to the shopping list.

Next...

This tropical print jumpsuit is amazing, I love it so so much I cannot explain. It can be dressed up for an evening out or kept casual as I have done here with sandals and a plain kimono. It's from Missguided and costs £24.99 but they have 10% student discount all year round. It's quite thin on the legs which I think is good as it's cool to wear and doesn't make you hot. The top part is quite big on me so I opted for a 10 rather than a 12 (my usual size). Really lovely jumpsuit and my first ever one in my wardrobe!

Next is this eye catching kimono from Matalan. It's from the holiday section and costs £12, and it's worth the £12. It's this season and perfect for summer. I'm not going on holiday this year, like the past 13years however it is a really nice item for the English summer, teamed with ripped jeans or shorts with a cute top. I wore this to xscape at Castleford which is so fun by the way! It's really lovely quality, much better than Primark's quality and they also do 10% student discount if you have a matalan card... if you don't have a card it takes 1min in store to register for one.

Finally....

These super cute dungarees are from Primark and only cost £9! I was so excited when I found these, I was in shock because the print is so pretty and dungarees are just all round cute! Wore this outfit for work and I got several compliments about the dungarees. They are really good quality and quite versitile. Wanting the weather to get warmer so I can wear these more!

They are my recent purchases, not too many as I had a car accident so had to pay out loads :( anyway, I'm wanting to start doing outdoors pictures but I don't have anyone to photograph. Any ideas on this?

That one item....

There's always that one item of clothing that you fall in love with in a very unexpected place. Well this place was Asda. I've purchased the odd accessory from there but never looked at the clothes.

So as I was going food shopping the other day, walked straight through the door and in Asda George's A-Area was the perfect summer floral shirt. It's lightweight and floaty and oversized so no clinging! At a meesly £12 I couldn't leave the shirt behind so I bought it.

The next day when I was wearing it for work, I had a problem.... I didn't know what to wear with it! My only pair of denim shorts didn't look right, black leggings make the outfit too dark and my other trousers are generally patterned and coloured in a way that don't fit with the shirt. So I wore my new £7.99 jeans from H&M (bare in mind I hate jeans).

I only picked these jeans up last week because they were a decent shade of blue and with my work discount only cost me £5.99 so thought I could do with a pair. I have quite short legs, or they are making trousers much more longer than usual. Length wise I used to fit in all my trousers and leggings but now I'm having to roll everything up. Some items it suits like jeans but others it doesn't. Anyone else have this problem?

So this is how I wore the shirt. I teamed it with a daisy necklace (new look), H&M basic jeans, pink fluffy cardigan (H&M( and brown loafers (Primark).

What a good day....

In my previous post I said that this next post would be a Missguided post, well it's not I'm afraid!

On Wednesday I went to meet some of my family at the local garden centre. It's called Wentworth garden centre and the cafe, gardens and animal farm are lovely for any age! We went to the cafe for some lunch and this beast of a cake was my uncle's lunch!

After feeding the animals on the farm (I'm sure my mental age is 7), I went shopping and got some beautiful Nike free runs and some Victoria secret body sprays. Here are a few pics from the day.

My outfit of the day was this Greek print oversized dress from Missguided £16.99 with my tesco kids fluffy cardigan £13, my gold chain from Internationale with my old scuffed boat shoes from the vans shop.

                                             Lulu the llama

                                         Shaun the smiley sheep

                                              My beautiful nike free runs

Hope everyone has a great weekend! Next will be a make up post on what I use most days.

Much love

Cheat night, date night..

Since the start of 2014, I've started back running and doing workouts every day. My diet is well under way and I've lost almost half a stone already-yay!! Saturday night I went to a local pub restaurant (a Fayre and Square restaurant) with my boyfriend for a meal. I don't rate the food at all or the service with one exception... the cookie dough pizza. It was warm and gooey and melted in your mouth mmm.
I'm quite a messy eater so I wore my Missguided PVC skater skirt in Pink, which I'm still obsessed with! I teamed this with black tights as it was freezing that night and a stripey box top from Primark. Stripes are gradually coming into fashion and will be big this spring! I also dyed my hair back to blonde but it's a blondey ginger AGAIN, still makes a change though but trying to get my hair more ash than ginger. Any tips for this?

My next post will be a Missguided haul, I have recently bought a few things from there.. Currently my favourite place to shop!

January!

So I say this every time but I haven't blogged recently because I've been so busy with work and uni work and seeing the friends and family and boyfriend! I got a LOT of clothes for christmas, almost a new wardrobe I'm so lucky! I have that many clothes that I've had to buy a clothes rail as my clothes don't fit in my 2 wardrobes anymore, yes 2!!

Last night I went to Toby carvery for a meal because I had a voucher and this is what I wore....
H&M blouse, Ark grey acid wash jeans and Suede black cut out boots with primark pink frilly socks! I'm a sucker for cut out boots, I love them so much!!! These were only £27 off eBay so were a bargain compared to the ones Ark are selling at £45 (exactly the same boots) so I advice everyone to check eBay before buying shoes online! I'm also one of the PVC girls, I love it so so much! With christmas money I purchased a pink PVC skater skirt from Missguided, it's so so beautiful it's my baby!

This may sound weird but when I'm styling and putting outfits together I like to make up themes. The above outside was laid back grunge with the classy blouse and punky boots and jeans. The theme I had with my PVC skirt was 'on Fridays we wear pink'.

I wish I'd have worn my cut outs with this outfit rather than buckle boots but oh well! The odd fashion mistake is allowed! Here I wore a pink fluffy jumper from H&M with my missguided PVC skirt and black buckle boots (asda) and finished off with my super colourful gem necklace from H&M also!

So I do have a very stressful term of uni coming up, last term before I graduate! But I will try my best to keep people updated!

Hope everyone had a good Xmas and HAPPY NEW YEAR! ❤️

Girly/punk/worker

This morning I was half asleep getting dressed so put together this girly outfit with a hint of punk (the spikey necklace, Primark) with scruffy style worker boots, also from Primark quite a few years ago. I just thought about mixing it up today, and thought my long dark green thermal socks go perfect with this outfit. The denim skater dress is from H&M and blazer from Primark also. These knitted tights from H&M are a life saver. I love wearing dresses but in this freezing cold weather up north it's very difficult! With these tights, I don't have to worry about the temperature outside.

          Here's today's outfit in full.

Straight (ish) hair with spikey necklace

  Scruffy looking worker boots- Primark

Today's nails- It's No7 but doesn't have a name, boo! It's a dark blue sparkley glittery polish (I love glitter)

Hope everyone has a good day

Christmas party outfit #2

Christmas party outfit #2

So this is my final blog post today and it's the second Christmas party outfit! I'm not a big fan of lipsy however I love this dress! It's perfect for a Christmas party and would consider buying it myself. I teamed the dress with black and silver accessories, with glitter and sequins to finish the party look. With it being so cold right now, black tights are a must have for this party season!

Tip of the day: it's often the little details that make the outfit

It's Friday Friday, got to get down on Friday!

Today my day consists of trains, uni and work and with this chilly weather, I brought out my knitted jumper and tights! I'm currently on my way to uni so blogging from the lands of trains, so boring!

So I'm slightly obsessed with my tartan scarf. I actually purchased it in the Lake District so is completely authentic, no Primark cheap quality! I also love this jumper from H&M (£19.99). I often find that jumpers can be too thick to wear underneath coats, if their really warm or extremely thick so you can't move your arms but this one is thick(ish) with holes in it so it's perfect. My knitted tights are from H&M too (£9.99). Since starting work there I swear I get all my wardrobe from there. Even my denim look tube skirt is from there (£3.99).

Even though I had to be up very early this morning I still paid much attention to my make up. Some days I can't be bothered but I bought Little Mix's Perry's silver eyeshadow dust yesterday and I wanted to try it! Plus I have work straight after uni so wanted to not look like a zombie.

So here I used Collection 2000: Little Mix Perry's silver eyeshadow dust. It's really easy to apply and doesn't go everywhere like most eyeshadow dust does! Usually I use a brush to apply eyeshadow but I used my finger instead as I feel I have more control. To get the smokey eye look I also used MUA's black eyeshadow and blended with my finger. I use 3 mascara's, the Rimmel London Retro glam eyes, the orange Rimmel one (volume) and the purple Rimmel one. I don't actually know what their called exactly, oops!

So I hope everyone has a good day!

These past two months..

So these past 2 months have been stupidly stressful. I've split up with my boyfriend, lost one of my jobs, moved house, my mum and stepdad split up then got back together and are now engaged so that's why I've been so quiet and I've missed blogging so much, even if I'm still a beginner! So now I'm back, here's my latest fav outfit.

Me and Primark have a love/hate relationship. Sometimes they sell some really nice things and other times it's all tacky or terrible quality. My favourite winter item right now is my blue jumper. It's such a vibrant colour and anyone that knows me will know I love colours. I love these leggings because their different. Tartan print is all over the shops right now so at £6 (another primark steal), these were necessary. My gold chain is from Internationale and buckle boots from Asda.

I am actually in love with oversized chunky jumpers and scarves. I feel so cosy and warm when I'm dressed like this. Also considering a change of hair colour, brunette perhaps? Let me know what you think. I'm back for good now :)

Hey everyone!

So I've only just discovered how to blog from my iPad, and I've been really busy these pasts few weeks with my birthday, sorting out things for my new apartment and dying my hair pink! I'm currently sat on my boyfriend's bed in the lovely Scarborough *I love the seaside*. I haven't been taking many pictures this week however I'm off to the Lake District on Monday for a few days so will have my slr ready :)

Here's what's been happening..

So this has been my past week, I need to start blogging more, and stop getting so bored of my hair! This pink was influenced by the lovely Lily Melrose, who is really lovely and her videos on YouTube are amazing, oh and she has an amazing wardrobe! The pink went a lot brighter than I had planned but it'll fade quickly due to me being blonde.

The second picture are some little snippets of my new uni room *currently under modification*. I love my apartment so much (with my boyfriend in Leeds). We're not moving in until 23rd Sept which is good because I always get sad when it's time to leave home :( even though I'm back most weekends for work! I'm such a mummy's girl :) time to do some online shopping!

Much love
